Educational Qualification:
Prof Paonam Gunindro Singh did his MA in Ancient Indian Culture and Archeology, in 1982 from Decan College Post Graduate Research Institute, Pune.
After which he did his research on the topic “Palaeography of Western Indian Cave Inscriptions” under the guidance of (Late) Prof Sobhana Gokhale, he got PhD in 1986.
He Joined Manipur University as Assistant Professor in 1987, Presently he is serving as Professor and teaching Manipuri Culture and Old Manipuri Literature for the PG Students in the Department of Manipuri, Manipur University.
In the research front his areas of interest are Palaeography, Manuscriptology and Manipuri Culture.
